What we process and why

Visiting the site. To show you a page and keep the site secure, our servers process your IP address, browser, the page you asked for and the time, and keep them only as long as that needs.

Statistics. We measure which pages are used and how visitors find the site. This uses cookies to recognise returning visitors; you can block them in your browser.

Images and maps. Some are loaded from other providers’ servers, which then receive your IP address.

Your account. Signing in is optional. If you sign in, we store your email address, the players and tours you follow, when your account was created, and how much time you spend on the site each day and the last page you viewed, and we send you one welcome email. This is kept until you ask us to delete your account at lucas.erlacher.29@gmail.com.

Players. We publish the sporting records of professional golfers from publicly available sources. If you are a player and want something corrected or removed, write to lucas.erlacher.29@gmail.com.

Messages. If you email us, or we exchange messages on Instagram, we use your username or address and the messages only for that conversation.

The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running and improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, for your account, providing the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Cookies and storage your browser needs for sign-in and your settings are used under § 25(2) TDDDG.

Service providers

We use IT service providers for hosting, sign-in, email and statistics. Some are based in the USA, where your data may be processed.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, and have it corrected, deleted, restricted or handed over to you (Art. 15 to 20 GDPR), and you can object to its processing (Art. 21 GDPR). Write to lucas.erlacher.29@gmail.com. You can also complain to the Bavarian data protection authority (BayLDA).
